Dear guests & friends of the house!

It is not so easy at the moment to find the right words and the right measure. We are torn between acute reaction to daily new challenges and consistency in other things.

I have long been of the opinion that we in the SWAN are on the right track. The SCHWANEN has deliberately remained small, we continuously invest in our own brand and constantly increase quality. We rely on our #wildeweibergarten and the Solidarische Landwirtschaft Bezau and grow vegetables, salads and herbs ourselves. We process all products sustainably and are fully committed to organic farm management.

We want the added value to remain in the Bregenzerwald and maintain long-term relationships with our suppliers, producers and guests and meet everyone at eye level. THAT we act this way is good, HOW we do it is even more important to me. It is the care that makes us unique. You notice it in the cleanliness throughout the house, the starched napkins from our own laundry, the homemade bread for breakfast. The motto "Reduce to the max" is the guideline. Only what is necessary and only the best of what is necessary.

What does that mean for you? I have decided for myself and the SCHWANEN, despite all adversities, to work with full power for my business, our guests and employees. At SCHWANEN we take care of each other. We take rules and regulations seriously and implement them with care. Our COVID-19 concept was partially awarded the Vorarlberg Innovation Prize 2020.

Until December 16, 2020 we are on vacation - you already know that. We will take some time off and answer your emails promptly, but rather not immediately.

LENT WEEK AFTER HILDEGARD OF BINGEN

WILD WOMEN COOKING CLASS

Michael & Franziska give a 2-day cooking course once a year. In the #wildeweiberkochkurs traditional is combined with modern. We cook according to my grandmother's recipes, bake spelt bread and learn about the focal points of Hildegard cuisine.

The WILDE WEIBER menu owes its name to a guest who said to my mother, "Eor sand ja wilde Wibor to cook 4 different menus for 4 people."

WILD WOMEN GETAWAY

It's not the length of the vacation that matters, but how you spend it. Give yourself a lightning break! I think it's often more effective to take many smaller time-outs than to constantly long for the big vacation.
