The Känzele is located between Bizau and Bezau. Everyone who is with us should certainly walk it off. A beautiful, shady forest path, which is covered with blueberries in summer. There are several variations to get to this beautiful vantage point. I prefer to walk up the Oberberg, Stein, over See, Bockvorsäß to Känzele and then over the Ölberg to Bezau. There you can either walk back along the stream or take the bus. Most run the whole round in 3 hours.
To be where no one else is, in often untouched, silent snowy landscape, alone or with a small group. Actually the total deceleration, at least for me.
The Gopf is like a life path, it goes up and down and you can never really see the goal clearly until you reach it. We call it the mushroom and berry mountain, especially in late summer to autumn. From the SCHWANEN you walk over the Wendelinskapelle with a wonderful view of the Kanisfluh, then over the ridge to the Gopf- Kopf. This is more or less our home circuit. We walk about 4 hours.
The summit for two people, because there are only 2 place there. The last third of the climb is steep and leads through the forest, but otherwise quite good to master. We run from the hotel via Oberberg, Stein, towards Seefluh and Hählekopf. The whole thing goes in 4 hours. In addition, you can also return via Hinteregg as a variant, then it takes 4.5 to 5 hours, for which you pass a fabulous flower meadow.
Directly from the SCHWANEN. I like to totally exhaust myself for 1-2 hours and only have to go behind the house, where I can enter the classic or skating trail. The trails of the neighboring communities of Reuthe and Bezau are also connected with ours, so you can really drive a nice round.
Simply a very cozy and relaxing round in the Bizauer high moor, where you can take 1, 2 or even 3 hours. Especially soothing in the early morning and after a long hike, with me after a day of work in the guest garden, when the feet are run hot. Reachable in 10 minutes from the SCHWANEN.
As the name suggests, it's simply beautiful! One of the places I always like to talk about and often remembered during my time abroad. Schönenbach is in spring & autumn a busy foreshore with a spectacular backdrop as well as the starting point of numerous hikes. Quite easily accessible by bus, bicycle or toll road. Unique is the deer rut in autumn. The rustic power struggle and Geröhre of the deer impresses hunters and also non-hunters equally.
